Another successful year at La Minita is wrapped up! Once again we hosted loads of visitors and guests, shared our farming and milling processes, covered miles and miles at the farm, and generally had another fantastic year.
It’s been our policy since forever that if you buy a bag of La Minita Estate coffee, you have a standing invitation to visit us at the farm during harvest to see our practices and learn about how coffee is grown and processed before it reaches your roasting plant. Each year we pack our schedule a little tighter, we squeeze in a few more groups, lose track of a few more weekends, and while it is sad to see the last of the visitors, it’s always a bit of a relief when the harvest finally comes to an end.
During this 2019 harvest we counted a total of 203 people, from 33 companies, that spent time with us at the farm. This may have been a record, but to be honest we haven’t done the best job of keeping track. A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us: we hope you brought home some new knowledge and found some inspiration in the passion we all have for great coffee. Pura Vida! See you next year!
