La Flor del Café Antigua comes from the heart of Antigua. We go into the mill and draw samples of all the year's delivered coffee and choose the lots from which we wish to prepare shipments. The coffee that we select is the absolute cream of the crop. Then, when it is time for us to make a shipment, our quality control team flies from Costa Rica to Guatemala where they supervise the preparation of the coffee. Our goal is to not only supply coffee from the best possible raw material, but to also ensure that it conforms to our usual standard of preparation. La Flor del Café is a classic Antigua—it has lively acidity, a heavy body, and flavors of fine chocolate, caramel, and smoky rum.

We prepare La Gloria by sourcing coffees from Huehuetenango, Antigua, and Acatenango that best illustrate each Region's distinctive characteristics. We choose the lots, supervise the final preparation from each mill, and then blend them to create our desired taste profile. The Huehue influence lends La Gloria its floral aroma and zippy acidity, while the Antigua/Acatenango coffees provide the rich body and flavors of caramel, honey and spice. The end result is an incredibly well-balanced and sweet coffee.

We work with a mill in El Oriente to produce this clean coffee. The Arte Maya has flavors of milk chocolate and toasted marshmallow, with good acidity and a pleasant heavy body.
